What did supporters of laissez-faire claim?
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Answer:

In any regard, supporters of laissez-faire governmental policies were often advocates for the "free market". They would suggest that federal or state involvement in business would stagnate and decelerate the growth of the economy. The "invisible hand" of the market does not actually exist, but this argument would be made in order to support the assertion that government involvement was not required. In reality, significant economic downfalls of the past could have been avoided, had the governments of "unregulated business" nations played a more active role. Claims such as these were made for the purpose of promoting a self-sustaining economy, even when such a thing cannot coexist with financial disparity.

I hope this helped you understand the motives behind laissez-faire business and government policies. Blessings to you.

Explain how the yellow press affected relations between the united states and spain
astra-53 [7]

The Spanish-American relations was affected by the yellow press because of the Spanish-American war - that is considered the first “media war”.

The Spanish-American war was fought in 1898 between the US and Spain. It started because of the explosion of USS Maine that was in Havana Harbor and the main issue of the war was Cuba independence.

When the USS Maine exploded “New York Journal” published a story blaming the Spanish for what occurred. The newspaper used eye-catching headlines, sensational stories with the feature of yellow.

This influenced the public’s opinion who demanded intervention and pushed the US to enter the conflict with Spain over Cuba.

nignag [31]

Answer: Formed armed militias.

Explanation:

In response to growing hostilities between the British and the American colonists, the British army took over Boston and in 1775 attempted to take over military stores and arrest some people in Massachusetts.

New England (the region Massachusetts is part of) colonists then formed armed militias in response and chased the British all the way back to the Charlestown area of Boston and began the siege of Boston which was effectively the beginning of the American Revolution.
