Well first it would be 49x3 and that would equal the area so the area is 147. Next you would want to divide that by 4 because there is four sides of the mural, so 147 divided into 4 equals 36.75 square centimeters per side of the mural. The nearest tenth I believe would be 3.675.

So answer: 3.675 but I’m not sure so don’t get mad at me if I’m wrong lol

On Map 1, which has a scale of 1:25000, length of road is 5.5cm and the area of a park is 1.4cm2
Zolol [24]

Answer:

50 km

Step-by-step explanation:

So the map has a scale of 1 cm: 20 km. Next, you look at how far they are apart and see if the scale and the distance on the map are the same measurement. In this case, they are both centimeters so they stay the same. Then, all you do is multiple the real size, 20 km, by

2.5

1

. Then, 20 x 2.5=50. So the answer is 50 km

The following chart shows the number of rows in an auditorium and the total number of seats. What equation defines the number of
Anastaziya [24]

Answer:

<em>Answer: c) S=20R+60</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Linear Model</u>

The chart supplied shows the number of rows (R) in an auditorium and the total of seats (S).

We'll find the equation that relates them. The equation of a line can be expressed in the slope-intercept form:

S = mR + b

Where m is the slope and b is the intercept.

The slope is found by:

\displaystyle m=\frac{S_2-S_1}{R_2-R_1}

We'll use two sample points (20,460) and (45,960):

\displaystyle m=\frac{960-460}{45-20}=\frac{500}{25}

m = 20

The value of b can be found by using one of the points, for example (20,460), and having m=20:

460 = 20*20 + b

Thus: b = 460 - 400 = 60.

The equation is:

S = 20R + 60

You can test the other points and check they belong to the same line.

Answer: c) S=20R+60

Combining like terms with rational coefficients <br> 7/8m+9/10-2m-3/5
nikklg [1K]

Answer:

Ah yes, one of my favorite topics.

Step 1: Which ever fraction comes first, you will solve it first. For this question, focus on doing \frac{7}{8}m-2m first. Afterwards, do \frac{9}{10}-\frac{3}{5}

Step 2: First one equals to 1.125. Next, find the LCD (lowest common dominator, which is 10). \frac{9}{10} -\frac{6}{10}=\frac{3}{10}

Step 3: 1.125+3/10
