Answer:

D. Write the Declaration of Independence and separate from Great Britain

Explanation:

As the English crown founded more and more colonies in North America, the settlers felt as citizens of the British Empire, but were treated as second class citizens, since they had different rights and trade and supply of goods was heavily controlled by the crown to the colonies, so they relied on the british empire for trading and different imports and exports to get basic products, when the crown decided to tax the american colonies, thay felt like they lost all of their rights, so they decided to declare their independence, taking advantage of the war that the British were fighting in Europe.

In at least one hundred words, discuss the significance of the speaker's rhetorical questions in relationship to the development
bekas [8.4K]

Answer:

Explanation:

The rhetorical question in this poem is asking about the development of a child. It's apparent that kids ask millions of questions, which is the most effective way children know the world and a part of the world becomes their lives, by asking questions, things become clearer to them and their development improves. That  is the tool employed by Whitman to show the speaker's development throughout the poem.

Children are known to be very inquisitive, they want to learn about the world they are in, they want to make sense of their environment and every existence, so the only way for them to achieve this is by asking existential questions.
