If women weren’t allowed to vote in modern times, who knows what other rights we would lack today. The movement to have a right to vote has motivated and inspired so many other pushes for women such as the Equal Rights Amendment and women in positions of power. There are still examples today of women fighting for new rights and it is no doubt that without the right to vote kicking everything off, nothing would’ve changed for women.
