Answer:

Organisms with higher fitness means that they have survived to an advanced age.

Explanation:

Fitness describes how successful organisms are at reproduction, survival, and mating. An organism is fit by how they survive and produce offspring, to do that, they need to live to an advanced age than organisms without fitness.

Why would tissue from the fetal stage of human development be used to look at mitosis?
WITCHER [35]
Mitosis is the process of cell division, where one parent cell divides to produce two genetically identical daughter cells. This process is vital in growth and tissue repair.
The reason that tissue from the fetal stage is helpful in studying mitosis is because mitosis is continuously and rapidly occurring in this phase of life in humans. The high rate of mitosis is due to the need for the fetus to grow rapidly and develop the necessary parts for it to be born.

What happens when a sound source is moving?
Mumz [18]

Explanation:

It stretched or compresses the sound waves it is producing if it is relatively moving away to getting closer respectively. This is called the Doppler shift effect..

This is why when a wailing ambulance approached you, the pitch of its wailing is high but when it passes you and moves away from you the pitch of the wailing lowers. Remember this is happening relative to your position.

Answer: etiolation of plant growth in shade, with fast growing cell without chloroplasts. Out of shade, cell differentiate again to produce photosynthesising cells

Explanation: It is a subjective decision as to what is ‘best’. Good examples are plant responses to changes in the nutrient supply.

when soil nitrogen is depleted some plants, such as legumes, grow nodules on their roots, with cells that release chemical signals to attract nitogen fixing bacteria.

Lack of light induces etiolation in many plants. New cells elongate and develop without chloroplasts, with rapid cell division exhibiting gravitropism, extending upward. When they grow beyond the shade area, cell differentiation changes again, to produce photosynthesising cells.

All orginsims grow and reproduce but how? And what about replacing those old and damaged cells?
poizon [28]
Example:
When you skin your knee, cells divide to replace old, dead, or damaged cells. Cells also divide so living things can grow. When organisms grow, it isn't because cells are getting larger. Organisms grow because cells are dividing to produce more and more cells.
