Which statement best describes religions in the Middle East before the idea of monotheism became popular?
boyakko [2]
C. Prior to monotheism, most religions were based on worshipping many gods.
They used to worship anything from nature. After Muhammad rose up as a leader, all of that stopped, and Arabic people started to believe in one god only.

This is the Winged Victory of Samothrace, created around 2nd century BC (190 B.C.). Its purpose was to spread the message of victory, so it is meant to be a messenger flying over Earth to spread news of a victory. In this case, the statue was created after a naval battle. This is why the statue looks like she just landed on the bow of a ship.

I hope this helps! Please give thanks or brainliest if you can :)
The Greeks have always used statues to represent peace, justice, or revenge, especially using female figures<3
