Native Americans were against the federal government because it had promoted the appropriation of their lands for new settlers. The confederacy took advantage of this dislike to established many treaties with the Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Seminole, Catawba, and Creek tribes and they were given access to millions of acres of land (option a)
. Sadly most of the deaths were on the Native American tribes and they were oppressed even more after the Civil War ended.
In the colonies, it was commonly known as the "<span>b. Sugar," Act, since this main "target" of this act was to impose taxes on sugar and molasses and other related products. </span>
