The Quality Based Education (QBE) Legislation mandated the teaching of the Georgian history in the school curriculum in eighth grade. Apart from this, QBE increased the educational funds and allowed teachers to pursue higher studies, in order to increase their knowledge and teaching efficiencies.
which is ironic because overseas they where fighting for the freedom of other people but back at home there was still massive amounts of segregation against blacks and other minority groups
