y represents the score

After the first day his score is -280 .

After 1 day score is -280

So when x=0 minutes on second day , the score is -280

Twenty minutes into the second day, his score is -360

When x=20 the score is -360

So we have two points (0,-280)  and (20,-360)

Now we find slope

$slope = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}$

$slope = \frac{-360-(-280)}{20-0}$

$slope = \frac{-80}{20}$

So slope = -4

Slope = -4 for the whole day
