After some early trading expeditions the first Dutch settlement was founded in 1615 fort Nassau on castle island along the hudson near present day Albany. The settlement served mostly as an outpost for trading in fur with the native lenape tribespeople but was later REPLACED BY FORT ORANGE.
Hope this helps.
The reason it was not very interesting to watch TV during 1928 is because there were not many shows on. TV was a new invention and because of that only the rich would be able to purchase it and only the rich would be able to act in it. Another reason could be because of the color. Colored TV's didn't come out until 1965 so all the shows before this time were in black and white. The first all-color prime-time season came just one year later.
