Answer;
2. China and Southeast Asia.
Japan expanded her empire in the 1930s and 1940s to include parts of China and Southeast Asia

Explanation;
Japanese expansion in East Asia began in 1931 with the invasion of Manchuria and Shanghai in 1932, then continued in 1937 with a brutal attack on China. Other expansion were; Japanese expansion into Hopei in 1933, expansion into inner Mongolia in 1937.
In early 20th century Japans population rapidly increased to a point that in 1937 the population was 70 million people. The country could not sustain itself on its own because of the lack of arable land, which brought the need to expand into Manchuria (Northeast region of China).

Japan never actually attacked (so: also never conquered) the parts very far away from it: it never attacked Eastern Europe (we reject option 1), nor did it attack Turkey (we reject option 3) and it did not attack India (we reject option 4).

the correct option is the remaining one: 2.

VMariaS [17]

The correct answer is C, but technically D is also correct. John Wycliffe earned his doctorate in divinity at Oxford University and became a professor. He also became a priest, but used this position to speak out against the corruption and the heresy in the Catholic. He openly criticized the pope and the hierarchy of the Catholic church. He is well-known for translating the bible into common English, so people could read it themselves instead of having to rely on the forced interpretation of the church.

What domestic issues did England and France have?
DIA [1.3K]

Upon becoming President of the United States, George Washington almost immediately set two critical foreign policy precedents: He assumed control of treaty negotiations with a hostile power—in this case, the Creek Nation of Native Americans—and then asked for congressional approval once they were finalized. In addition, he sent American emissaries overseas for negotiations without legislative approval
