Alrighty then sir!

These questions usually require quite a bit of thinking, but this is quite easy, so we'll slide with this!

Now, 4 cups are equal to 1 quart, and that's important!
In total, for number 7, Benji ate the amount that the question describes!

Remember, 4 cups are equal to 1 quart
4 x 7 = 28 / 2 = 14 pints / 2= 7 quarts for Number 8

Number 9
1 + 5 = 6: Keep the equation for now!
4 + 8 = 12! Keep that too

12 + 6 = 18 cups.
We have to minimize this

16 cups are 1 gallon
18 - 16 = 2
A is your answer for No.9!

Hope this helps!

Write the equation of a line that is perpendicular to the given line and that passes through the given point.
poizon [28]

Answer: y=-3x+29

Step-by-step explanation:

First put in y-intercept form to find the slope

4x-12y=2\\-12y=-4x+2\\y=\frac{1}{3} x-\frac{1}{6}

Slope of the 1st equation is 1/3-  the slope of the line perpendicular is the opposite reciprocal, so in the case it is -3

Use the point and the new slope to write the new equation in point slope format

y-y_{1} =m(x-x_{1} )\\y-(-1)=-3(x-10)\\y+1=-3x+30\\y=-3x+29

Mike walked 3 miles in 45 minutes. What was his rate in miles per hour? Please show how you got your answer
amid [387]

Answer:

4 miles per hour

Step-by-step explanation:

We can divide 45 minutes by 3 to get 15 minutes:

So that is 1 mile in 15 mins

Then we multiply both sides by 4 to get 60 mins:

4 miles in 60 mins

So his rate was 4 miles per hour
