Need help with dilation with a scale factor of 1/2 centered at (−1, 3)

A scale factor of 1/2 makes the triangle half the size of the original.

The original is 4 units tall, so 1/2 scale makes the new one 2 units tall.

It is 6 units long, so 1/2 would be 3 units long.

Now since the scale factor is centered at (-1,3) fine the midpoint between The top left corner of the triangle and the center point:

Midpoint ( -1-5/2 , 3+7/2)

Midpoint = (-6/2 , 10/2)

Midpoint = -3,5

This is where the top left corner of the scaled triangle would be.

We know that , in a circle radius perpendicular to chord will bisect the chord.
OM=18, so OQ=QM=18/2=9.
 Given QU=8
from figure OQU is a right angled triangle , so OU^2=OQ^2 + QU^2
OU^2 = 9*9 + 8*8 = 81+72=153;
OU=sqrt(153) = 12.37 =13(approx);
From given statements of congruent NT and OU will also be congruent or identical. So, NT=OU=13

To find, how many ways can 6 people be selected.

= {13}\times{12}\times{11}\times{10}\times{9}\times{8}

=

If stratified random sampling with proportional allocation is used to select a sample of 25 high schools, how many would be sel
gregori [183]

Answer:

02 High Schools would be selected from the stratum with a percent-free-lunch value of 40 less than or equals x.

Step-by-step explanation:

As the sample size needed is 25 and total schools are 100 so this indicate 1 school in each 4 schools is to be selected. This is given as

n=\frac{n_{total}}{n_{sample}}\\n=\frac{100}{25}\\n=4

Now as the schools with percent free lunch are 8 so now

n=\frac{n_{total}}{n_{sample}}\\n=\frac{8}{2}\\n=2

So only 2 schools will be selected in this regard.
