Do you think the American Dream is achievable? Why or why not?

English

Answer:

No

Explanation:

For most Americans the answer is no. For every 1 American that has the stereotypical "American Dream" nine people do not. For a white person born into a upper middle class family probably. For a Black person who is economically disadvantaged from systematic racism sadly probably not the system was made this way.

Read the excerpt from chapter 10 of Animal Farm.
USPshnik [31]

Answer:

The reader knows that Mr. Pilkington is praising a flawed and brutal system.

Explanation:

Dramatic irony is when the audience or readers know something about the scene and would expect it to happen which the characters in the story or scene seem to have no idea. The speech and behavior of the characters will contradict the upcoming event, which the readers or viewers can predict but not by the characters in the story.

In the given excerpt from chapter 10 from “Animal Farm” by George Orwell, we see Mr. Pilkington give a speech about how much he and his human friends have regarded the way Animal Farm was run by Napoleon. He is seen praising the brutal system that was the basis of how the farm was run and also promised that he along with his fellow humans will institute the same system in their own farms. And through his speech, we as readers, know that Mr. Pilkington was praising a system that is both brutal and flawed.

How do a great white shark hide from predators
agasfer [191]

Answer:

By camouflaging and taking cover.

Explanation:

Another shark defense may include hiding from predators by camouflaging themselves against the seafloor or reefs. The flattened of tropical waters is a standout example in terms of cryptic coloration, although its disguise is as much to support its ambush hunting as for lying low.
