Answer:

i feel like the great depression would have affected me seriously, most marriage crumbled during that period, i would have lost my job and family there was so much hunger and poverty and i feel like i would have been one of the poor and hungry ones

Explanation:

For many years, as one economic malady after another befell the country, American citizens were left in awful conditions, with poor jobs and wages. Many no longer had savings. A severe drought struck the Southern Plains, causing the infamous Dust Bowl. This meant many U.S. farmers, in addition to being hurt by the tariffs and trade decline, no longer even had usable land for farming.During the Great Depression, millions of Americans lost their jobs in the wake of the 1929 Stock Market Crash. ... The main reason for women's higher employment rates was the fact that the jobs available to women—so called “women's work”— were in industries that were less impacted by the stock market. While the Great Depression did lower marriage rates, the effect was not long lasting: marriages were delayed, not denied. The primary long-run effect of the downturn on marriage was stability: Marriages formed in tough economic times were more likely to survive compared to matches made in more prosperous time periods

bixtya [17]

Answer:

On June 4, 1947, Secretary of State George C. Marshall gave a speech in which he announced that the United States was willing to offer economic assistance to the war-torn nations of Europe to help in their recovery. The Marshall Plan, as this program came to be known, eventually provided billions of dollars to European nations and helped stave off economic disaster in many of them. The Soviet reaction to Marshall’s speech was a stony silence. However, Foreign Minister Molotov agreed to a meeting on June 27 with his British and French counterparts to discuss the European reaction to the American offer.

Tema [17]

Answer:

The correct answer is A) fostered a sense of national cultural conformity.

Explanation:

While Television had been around for a couple of years prior to World War II, it was only by the end of the war and during the economic boom that it's cultural impact was felt on a national level.

Just like what the radio did several decades ago, TV was able to do on a much larger scale and have a more meaningful visual impact.

Americans all over the country were able to watch the same sports, news, weather reports and even family friend entertainment programs.

This was able to build a strong cultural and national identity among various different regions of the country.
