Answer:

The amount of water is increasing by 3 while the amount of other two ingredients (yeast and hydrogen per oxide) is same.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Part A:

file is attached below in which the tape diagram of ratios is present.

  • Part B:

amount of yeast use in making foam=1

amount of water use in making foam=3

amount of hydrogen per oxide in making foam=8

In part B we are using 3 more table spoons of water than yeast in making foam, now the amount of ingredients use in making foam is;

amount of yeast use in making foam=1

amount of water use in making foam=3(3)=9

amount of hydrogen per oxide in making foam=8

13 and 15<br><br>solve each problem by graphing and slope intercept
mylen [45]

Answer: The answers are 13. (A) and 14. (B).

Step-by-step explanation: The calculations are as follows:

(13) The given equations are

y=-\dfrac{3}{8}x-6,\\\\\\y=-\dfrac{13}{8}x+4.

In the attached figure (a), these two lines are drawn. We can see that The lines intersect at the point P(8, -9). So, the solution to the pair of equations is (8, -9).

Thus, the correct option is (A).

(14) The given equations are

y=-\dfrac{1}{7}x-1,\\\\\\y=-x+5.

In the attached figure (b), these two lines are drawn. We can see that The lines intersect at the point Q(7, -2). So, the solution to the pair of equations is (7, -2).

Thus, the correct option is (B).

MRS Quirk buys 1 quart of milk. michael drinks 2/7 of it. Joel drinks 1/3 of it. what fraction of the quart of milk is left
erica [24]
13/21 cause 21 is a common denominator and 7x3+ 21 you have to do 7x=7  and 3x7=21 so you have to do 3x2= 6 so you do 6+7 which equals 13 and your answer is 13 over 21 since it can't be simplified

X^2 - 3x + p = 0
x^2 + qx + 7 = 0

αβ = p..........................(1)
3α + 3β = -q..................(2)
3α3β = 9αβ = 7
so substituting  for αβ from (1):-
9p = 7
p = 7/9

α + β = 3   ( from first equation)
from (2) -q = 3 (α + β)
so -q = 3*3 = 9   and q = -9
Answer is  p = 7/9 and  q = -9
