When the boy must turn himself into the wind, he must speak to several elements, including the wind and the heavens. These eleme

nts, in turn, speak back.
How does personification affect the meaning in this scene?

Personification causes the reader to sympathize with the boy.

It creates a vivid picture so the reader can experience the boy’s emotions.

It demonstrates that everything in the world has its own personality.

Personification reinforces the theme that everything is connected.

Answer: D) Personification reinforces the theme that everything is connected.

Explanation: personification is a figure of speech that consists in giving human characteristics to non human objects (or animals). In the given excerpt we can see an example of personification when it says that the wind and heavens (non human objects) speak back to the boy (human characteristic). This personification reinforces the theme that everything is connected (the boy is connected to the elements).

What is bullying/cyberbullying to you?
Dimas [21]

Here is a "paragraph" about what bullying/cyberbullying is to me:

The dictionary says bullying/cyberbullying is "insulting with threats; imperious; overbearing; blustering: as, a bullying manner." but it's not really. Bullying/cyberbullying is in my opinion, a way that someone gains "power" from making other people feel unneeded, unwanted, useless, powerless, and useable to bully again. Bullying/cyberbullying is an outlet for people who don't exactly have their perfect life and make themselves happier.
