Answer:D) accommodation

Explanation:

Accommodation is a term developed by psychologist Jean Piaget to define how we modify our existing knowledge as we learn new information.

Instead of eliminating the existing Information we adjust our schemas to accomodate what we have just learnt. Schemas refer to how we organise knowledge into patterns as we learn it.

For example a child learns what a bus is but may also refer to a train as a bus , when this child is told that this isn't a bus , she or he will modify the information he already had to understand what is a train , she or he will take note of the differences between the two in order to accomodate this new information.

Kitty [74]

Answer:

Social neuroscience seeks to identify the neural basis of social behavior and looks at how we can illuminate our understanding of groups, interpersonal relations, and emotions by understanding their cognitive underpinnings.

Explanation:

Social neuroscience can be defined as the interdisciplinary study of multilevel neurobiological processes (nervous, endocrine, immune) that allow us to interact with the social world, of how neurobiological events affect psychosocial processes and how these, in turn, have effects at the biological level, that is, it addresses fundamental questions about the mind and its dynamic interactions with the biological systems of the brain and the social world in which it resides. This field studies the relationship between neural and social processes, including the intermediate components of information processing and operations at the levels of neural and computational analysis.
