What major geographical advantage does agriculture in the Coastal South have over most other regions of North America
kicyunya [14]

Answer:

The region is largely frost-free so many frost intolerant crops can be grown.

Explanation:

The Coastal South in North America consists of cities like Florida, Texas, and North Carolina. This region is known for the exceptional agriculture that occurs there. The nature of their soil is not the cause of this, rather it has a lot more to do with their climatic conditions which range from the time of the last frost in spring to the beginning of the next frost in fall. So, this allows for about nine months of intensive agriculture.

Frost is ice which is mostly seen on the surface of the soil. It is quite difficult for many plants to survive the harsh condition imposed by frost. So the lengthy number of days and months without frost in the Coastal South gives it a great advantage over compared to many other regions in North America.

How does the tundra biome change and used by humans? And what impact would this change have on the environment?
Mandarinka [93]
The tundra biome changed as it was used by humans because the ice and snow melt due to global warming caused by pollution which is cause by humans. Also, hunting and animal domestication made it so that there are less animals in the tundra biome. This implant would change the environment because it would make it so there is less ice and snow as temperatures rise as well as less animals.

Why does permeable rock break down more quickly than less permeable rock?
kotykmax [81]
A permeable rock breaks down quicker than a rock that is not so permeable because there is less space for anything (i.e. water) to get in the not so permeable rock in order to widen the holes and ultimately break the rock. On the other hand, a permeable rock is full of holes and will break down because of the many holes available to widen.
