The American Continental Army won the final battle of Yorktown also popularly known as <em />the <em>Siege of Yorktown </em>that made the British to surrender. They become victorious after they attacked British ships  reinforcing the French and British soldiers while trapping the British army on the Yorktown Peninsula.
