Brazil shares borders with seven Spanish speaking countries. To the North and North-East with Venezuela and Colombia respectively, to the West with Perú and Bolivia, to the South-West with Paraguay, and to the South with Uruguay and Argentina. All of these countries have Spanish as their official and majoritary language. Brazil's official language is Portuguese though.
Its neighbors are Honduras and Guatemala. It is on the equator to the west of Columbia. It is the largest country (in area) in South America. Spanish is not the official language.
