Let us say,

Price of adult ticket=x

Price of child ticket =y

On the first day ticket sales the school sold 4 adult tickets and 12 child tickets for total of $80

4x+12y=80.............(1)

took $41 on the second day by selling 1 adult ticket and 10 child tickets

1x+10y=41.............(2)

x=41-10y..............(3)

plugging the value of x from equation (3) in equation (1) we get,

4(41-10y)+12y=80

164-40y+12y=80

84=28y

y=3

plugging this value of y in equation (2) we get,

1x+10(3)=41

x=11

Price of adult ticket= 11 dollars

Price of child ticket = 3 dollars
