Why taenia solium is not digested by human intestines?
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

that's an pretty interesting question

Explanation:

For the simple reason that no digestion takes place in the human intestines. Digestion takes place in the stomach. Intestines are where the nutrients are absorbed into the body, and the conditions there are much more favourable for parasites like tapeworms. The stomach produces hydrochloric acid strong enough to burn a hole in a rug and is also home to lot of other strong digestive enzymes. Any tapeworm venturing there would get digested in seconds.

4. Did the complete process of photosynthesis take place in the way you modeled it in this activity? Explain your answer.
Dafna1 [17]
Well I dont know exactly how you modeled your model in this activity (also, I notice this is a question from 2016), but I do know the two processes.

This is the process of making glucose in plants. Photosynthesis goes through two individual stages:
Stage 1: Light dependent reaction (depends on the presence of light; it can’t happen in the dark)
Stage 2: Light independent (dark reaction) (works in the absence of light, but calling it a dark reaction might be misleading; It can just as well happen in the presence of light).
