Find the intervals from which f is increasing or decreasing for f(x)=3x^2/5-x^3/5

f(x)=3x^{2/5}-x^{3/5}

We get the derivative : f'(x)=3*2/5*x^{2/5-1}-3/5*x^{3/5-1}=\dfrac{6}{5x^{3/5}}-\dfrac{3}{5x^{2/5}}

f'(x) is negative for x<0.

Let's look at the critical points other than at x=0:
f'(x)=0 <=> 6/5-(3/5)x^(1/5)=0 <=> x^(1/5)=(6/5)*(5/3)=2 hence x=2^5=32

There is a critical point at x=32; for x<=32 f' is positive, for x>=30 f' is negative.

The derivative is positive for positive xs and negative for negative xs, hence f is increasing for 32>=x>0, and decreasing for x<0 and x>32

Answer:

t = 0

If the loan is to be paid in 0 months, the amount is very large

m = 50

Of the loan is to be paid in an indefinite amount of time, monthly payment would be 50

Step-by-step explanation:

(12000 + 600t)/12t

1000/t + 50

Asymptotes:

t = 0

If the loan is to be paid in 0 months, the amount is very large

m = 50

Of the loan is to be paid in an indefinite amount of time, monthly payment would be 50

Help its for math will give brainly Find the area of the hexagon.
borishaifa [10]

Answer:

the area of the hexagon is 68 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us observe the image a little, we can find the area of the hexagon equals to the area of the large rectangle minus 4 small triangles surrounding the hexagon. The area of the rectangle is 8 × 12 is 96 cm². The area of 1 small triangle is 4 × 3.5 ÷ 2 = 7, there are 4 triangles, so the total area is 4 × 7 = 28. So the hexagon's area is 96 - 28 = 68 cm²

Hope this will help❤️

DeSean is sorting his toy car collection. ⅔ of the cars are sports cars. ¼ of the remaining toys are pick up trucks. All of the
user100 [1]

Answer:

Fraction of fire trucks = \frac{1}{4}

Total number of toy cars = 16

Step-by-step explanation:

Fraction of sports car = \frac{2}{3}

Fraction of remaining cars =1-\frac{2}{3}=\frac{3-2}{3} =\frac{1}{3}

So,

Fraction of pick up cars = \frac{1}{4}(\frac{1}{3})=\frac{1}{12}

Therefore,

Fraction of fire trucks = \frac{1}{3}-\frac{1}{12}=\frac{4-1}{12}=\frac{3}{12}=\frac{1}{4}

That is Number of fire trucks = \frac{1}{4} ( Total number of toy cars )

Number of fire trucks = 4

Total number of toy cars = 4(4)=16
