So find volume of 1 cube
and find volume of box
then divide volume of box by volume of 1 cube

volume of box=legnth times width times height=8 times 6 times 5=240
then it is not clear how much volume the cube is but I think it is 48 so
240/48=5
5 cubes will fit (theoretically, if they are melted in)

Pretend you have a sibling who is two years younger than you. He/she hears you working on triangle similarity and wants to know
taurus [48]

Two triangles are similar if they are the same, except one is bigger and one is smaller. Also, their angles are all the same. A career that uses similar triangles could be a mathematician, or a math teacher. Both of these need to be able to understand simple concepts like similar triangles to teach to their victims.

If G(x) = 3x + 1, then G^-1(1) is
NISA [10]

One way in which to do this problem is to find the inverse function of G(x) first.  Another, faster, method is to look at G(x) = 3x + 1.  Find the x value for which y = 1:

1 = 3x + 1.  Then x must equal 0.  If (0, 1) satisfies G(x) = 3x + 1, then  (1, 0) satisfies the inverse function of G(x) = 3x + 1.

Thus, the value of the inverse function with input 1 is 0.

Step 1:  Replace "G(x)" with y.

Step 2:  Solve the resulting equation for x.

Step 3:  Replace x with y and y with x.

                                                 -1

Step 4:  Replace this "y" with G    (x).

Now replace "x" with "1".
