Explanation:

The neuroscientists around the world have known for some long time that our brain uses some other visual cues to guess or to estimate the distance. People those who are blind or cannot see with one eye have the impaired depth of perception, but however they still own the functional depth of their perception. Because of this, the world does not seems flat to their eyes. The monocular depth perception will function well enough to allow for safe driving, for example.

But from evolutionary point, it makes perfect sense that the brains of the vertebrate would adopt certain methods of some estimating distance which they hit upon. This is true in those animals which do not have any binocular vision. For example, the Geese have opted or adapted themselves to have eyes on their opposite sides of the head in order to have all round view or the broadest field of the vision. Some other hunting species typically favor the binocular vision – which takes a smaller vision for the greater precision of their depth perception.
