Comments: Mia,
I am happy to see you are jumping right into the course. You are correct that physics and Newton's laws of motion are important to swimming. You are off to a good start, but you have not mastered the 3 laws of motion, yet. I would like you review the definitions and examples in the lesson and to then download the worksheet and complete the questions directly on the sheet. It will guide you to write in Newton's 3 Laws of motion and provide examples. If you need any help please reach out to me. With some more hard work, I know you can do this. I am excited to see what your resubmit.

I would recommend, to include the scientific part of Newton's Laws of motion, with an example. Also, state how all three laws play a part in the activity. It seems like you just did the realistic part of it, swimming, now include how it happens with correct vocabulary.  Good Luck!

Use this technique to find a formula for the intensity I of a sound, in terms of the sound level β and the reference intensity I
denis23 [38]

Answer:

I = I_o (10^{\frac{\beta}{10}})

Explanation:

As we know that sound level is given as

\beta = 10 Log (\frac{I}{I_o})

so here we have

\frac{\beta}{10} = Log(\frac{I}{I_o})

now we can take anti log both sides

10^{\frac{\beta}{10}} = \frac{I}{I_o}

so we have

I = I_o (10^{\frac{\beta}{10}})

so above is the expression for the intensity of sound in terms of reference intensity and sound level

Olegator [25]

Answer:

The cable used is a straight through cable.

Explanation:

The cable used here is a straight through cable, that is why it fails to establish the connection.

Cross-over cables are used to communicate over legacy switch. It is used to connect computing devices directly.

In a cross over cable, signal gets transmit from one end of the device to the other.

Consider two tubes filled with water at the same height, one with fresh water and the other tube with salt water. The pressure i
Olegator [25]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

The correct option for the question is B that is salt water. In salt water, the density of water is higher so the pressure at the end of tube containing salt water will be greater. As according to the hydrostatic law the pressure at a given point will be directly proportional to the distance travelled as well.

Drupady [299]

Answer: False

Explanation:

The statement that the environment affects people, but people don't affect the environment is incorrect. It should be noted that people also affect the environment.

Some of our impact on the environment include pollution, deforestation, overpopulation, burning of fossil fuels etc. Thus has resulted in changes such as erosion, climate change, etc.
