The correct answer is fire extinguisher.

Before someone starts to fuel a boat there should be fire extinguisher.

When a person is fueling the fuel might overfill and spill the fuel into engine or to passenger compartment and this can increase the risk of fire explosion and if spilling fuel to the water will harm the marine environment that is why a person should have fire extinguisher when fueling.

Some precautions which are taken when refueling are,

1. Refueling should be done on daylight when artificial light is not needed.

2. When refueling a person should not smoke.

3. Portable tank should be refueled in the tank and not in the boat.

Similarities and differences between intramembranous and endochondral ossification
LiRa [457]
Similarities and differences between intramembranous and endochondral ossification
Ossification is the process of bone formation. Intramembranous and endochondral ossification are the two main processes of bone formation that occur during fetal development.
Similarities between intramembranous and endochondral ossification; they turn cartilage into bones during bone formation and they both involve bone cells such as calcium, vascular supply and osteoblasts.
Differences between intramembranous and endochondral ossification; In intramembranous ossification, an intermediate cartilage is not involved, rather the bone tissue is directly laid on a primitive connective tissue called mesenchyma while in endochondral ossification, cartilage is used as a precursor for bone formation. Also, in cases of fractures, the healing process by plaster of Paris occurs through endochondral ossification while fractures which are treated by open reduction and internal fixation are healed by intramembranous ossification.

Describe the neural and hormonal mechanisms that work to maintain blood pressure after significant (hemorrhaging) blood loss ass
Bad White [126]

Autoregulatory neural and endocrine mechanisms activate after blood loss to compensate for the loss and restore homeostasis.

Neural mechanisms involve blood pressure and blood chemistry. Cardiac centers and vasomotor centers may increase the blood flow and cardiac output (sympathetic) or decrease the blood flow and cardiac output (parasympathetic). Peripheral vessels are also constricted and nor epinephrine decreases flow in the arteries and decreases the flow in the veins.

Endocrine control acts in the renal and adrenal organs, the brain and heart. RBCs, renin/angiotensiogen/aldosterone, catecholamines, antidiretic hormone, atrial natriuretic hormone regulate blood volume and blood pressure by keeping the fluids in the cardiovascular system. It also initiates vasoconstrictors or vasodilators.
