In regards to photography composition, the frame refers to the edges of the photograph and using elements of a scene to create a frame for your subject or focal point of the picture.

Explanation:

Some strategies to "fill the frame" are to make the subject a significant portion of the final photograph. Try not to include too much background or foreground, other people or objects, which can be distracting and not draw the attention of the viewer to the focal point of the picture. You can get close to the subject and simplify the background. Also filling the frame with strong bold diagonal lines. Use just one color to fill the frame, or keep it simple with just two colors. Look at the edges of your frame and try to fill it with bold color. When in doubt, take your photos from much closer. As photographer Robert Capa says: <em>"If your photos aren't good enough, you´re not close enough"</em>

 So you should. 
</span><span>Use a telephoto or zoom lens and increase the focal length of the lens </span>

<span>Zoom with your feet i.e. get closer to your subject. </span>

<span>Crop the image in post production.</span>
