Congress approved to give bonus to the war patriots and many newspapers christened them as “bonus army”.
The war veterans’ started a revolution which took the shape like that of a communist revolution. Many communist leaflets were also shared. As it was a hot summer and the veterans were not ready to leave Washington which made president Hoover to command the army personnel.
