Well, sadly, I'm kinda in between "to see if the author's research is complete and objective" and "to see what else the the author has written" cuz it's suppose to be about and  include personal information, addresses, career history, writings, work in progress, biographical/critical sources and authors' comments and/or informative essays about their lives and work.

Sooo, i'm assuming that it could be the last answer

- Sincerely, Ouma

How does this prepositional phrase being used Hearing the key in the lock, the delighted dog dashed to the front door
blondinia [14]

There are actually two prepositional phrases in this sentence: “in the lock” with the preposition “in” and “to the front door” with the preposition “to”. However, both of these prepositional phrases serve similar purposes despite their relationship to different subjects. The first phrase, “in the lock”, tells the reader the position of the key. The second phrase similarly tells the reader where the dog is dashing to. Therefore, your answer is that the prepositional phrases are being used to indicate specific locations.

Hope this helps!
