Thats four questions, but okay :)   1.) 1 16/32 is just an hour and a half, and 1 2/8 is a hour and 15 minutes. that adds up to 2 hours and 3/4 or 2 hours and 45 minutes. 6-2 3/4 =3 1/4 hours, or 3 hours 15 minutes.     2.) convert the 1/3 and 2/5 into 10/30 and 12/30 so they have the same denominator, add them. that equals 22/30. now convert the 9/10 into 27/30 for easy subtraction. 27/30 minus 22/30 is 5/30, simplify that and it is 1/6. so betty needs a 1/6 of a gallon more.      3.) 32 6/12 is just 32 and 1/2. and thats 1/5 of his stuff. so take 32.5 and multiply it by 5, which equals 162.5 minutes. that is 2 hours 42 minutes, and 30 seconds.      4.) take 6 3/8 and multipy that by three for one week. that is 19.125. now multipy that by three since there are three weeks. that equals 57.375 which as a fraction is 57 3/8. so he would run 57 and 3/8 miles in three weeks of training. sorry about my spelling, im ust trying to type fast so you can get this fast.  :)

The weights of certain machine components are normally distributed with a mean of 8.04 g and a standard deviation of 0.08 g. Fin
NISA [10]

Answer:

The bottom 3 is separated by weight 7.8896 g and the top 3 is separated by weight 8.1904 g.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that

Mean, \mu=8.04 g

Standard deviation, \sigma=0.08g

We have to find the two weights that separate the top 3% and the bottom 3%.

Let x be the weight of  machine components

P(Xx_2)=0.03

P(X

=0.03

From z- table we get

P(Z1.88)=0.03

Therefore, we get

\frac{x_1-8.04}{0.08}=-1.88

x_1-8.04=-1.88\times 0.08

x_1=-1.88\times 0.08+8.04

x_1=7.8896

\frac{x_2-8.04}{0.08}=1.88

x_2=1.88\times 0.08+8.04

x_2=8.1904

Hence, the bottom 3 is separated by weight 7.8896 g and the top 3 is separated by weight 8.1904 g.

The degree of a polynomial is the highest exponent in a term
thus it'd be 7 cuz

10.) A soccer team plays 104 tournaments in two
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

A. The Number of Lost games = 154 Games

B. Number of games won is greater than the number of games lost.

Step-by-step explanation:

A. how many games did they lose in both years?

Total Number of games = 104 tournaments x 3 Games in each tournament

Total Number of games = 312 Games

The No. of Lost games= Total Games in 2 years - Games won in 1st year - Games won in 2nd year

The No. of Lost games = 312 - 55 - 103

The No. of Lost games = 154 Games

B. Is the number of games won greater than the number of games lost?

Total Number of Games won = 158 Games

Total Number of Games lost = 154 Games

Hence, Total Number of Games won is greater than the Total Number of Games lost.
