I would say that line two, “The eye like the eye of faith believes”, because it creates a comparison between two objects (in this case the eye and the eye of faith) using the word “like”. I hope this helps!

Identify what is wrong with each italicized pronoun reference.
notsponge [240]
<span>My worst problem is the inability to speak clearly in public. <em>This </em>is not true when I am with my family.</span> The pronoun reference "this" in the sentence is used incorrectly because it used to refer to the whole sentence before it. It implies that the antecedent is "<span>My worst problem is the inability to speak clearly in public."</span> However, the readers don't know which part of that statement "is not true when I am with my family". Is the problem not true? Is the inability to speak clearly in public not true? The antecedent is vague, and we can say that (3) there's no specific antecedent.

Identify the direct object in the sentence below. "I threw the catcher the ball but I missed." A) threw B) catcher C) ball D) mi
Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

the direct object is ball.

Explanation:

If you diagram the sentence, the verb is threw. Then, you find that the subject is I. Ask the question, *I threw "who?" or "what?". You will get the answer I threw ball. It isn't catcher because you can't throw a catcher. The word "the" is always an adjective, and so is "a". Missed is an adverb. That is how you find that the answer is "ball"!! I hope that this helped, and it will really make my day if you mark me as brainiest :D! Enjoy your day.
