Answer:

hopefully its good

Explanation:

i think i am a responsible citizen because a citizen has knowledge about his/her role in community, state and the world. A responsible citizen has a role in making the world a better place to live (for every components in biosphere). A responsible citizen is change agent that acts out against injustice in social, economic, and environmental sectors. And helping others and the community is being a responsible citizen which is why i believe i am one and we can all be to make the world a better place.

That's ur point of view. I can't just say it randomly, but,

If u keep ur surroundings clean, do not litter everywhere, follow the rules and laws, do not break rules, etc then u r a responsible citizen & if u don't do these all then u aren't..

NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kari74 [83]

Answer:

Fourth Option: It introduces the topic and involves the reader in the activity.

Explanation:

Bob Kowalski in his article "A big Year" gives a slight clue to what the article is about i.e. <em>see a bird.</em> So it is about seeing birds. Another very important effect achieved by this line is that the writer engages the reader right from the beginning by directly addressing the reader. He creates a curiosity in reader's mind about why one needs to go the ends of the earth just to see a bird.

First option is incorrect because there is nothing such idea (birding being silly thing) neither in the first line nor anywhere in the article.

Second option is incorrect because the birders are not yet introduced in this line.

Third option is also incorrect because there is nothing such idea in the first line or anywhere in the article.

Furkat [3]

Answer:

Appeal to pity.

Explanation:

A fallacy is elucidated as the error or flaw in reasoning or logic of an argument that makes it invalid and unsound and affects its validity.

'Appeal to pity' is demonstrated as the fallacy or illogical reasoning in which the arguer attempts to gain support of the audience through exploitation of the opponent's emotions of pity.

In the given example, <u>'appeal to pity'</u> fallacy has been demonstrated as the <u>author illogically aims to establish the truth of his conclusion('return of anti-semitism') and win audience's support emotionally by manipulating the opposition's sense of emotion or pity</u>('find it incredibly ironic that he and other Moral Majority types conveniently overlook the fact that they, too, pack away a pretty tidy sum themselves through their fund-raising efforts which is deplorable'). Thus, <u>'appeal to pity'</u> is the correct answer.
