Eating away from home is playing an increasing large role in the diet and the household budgets of American families. Back in 1970 approximately 26 percent of all food spending was on food away from home; by 2012, that amount had risen to 43 percent. The increase can be attributed to a greater percentage of women employed outside the home, more two-earner households with the resulting higher incomes, as well as more affordable and convenient fast food outlets. The downfall of this statistic is the contribution all that fast food makes to higher levels of obesity and lower dietary nutritional quality.

Answer:

Answer is in the explanation.

Explanation:

Let's make a system of equations.

5x+10y=550

x+y=80

Now let's use elimination

-5x-5y=-400

5x+10y=550

__________

5y=150

y=30

Then subsitute 30 in for y to find x. This will leave you with x=50. You will have 50 $5 bills and 30 $10 bills. You can check by subsituting x for 50 and y for 30 in both equations to show why it is correct. Eliminating makes it easier to solve the system of equations.

Cross-pollination, or when pollen from one plant fertilizes another plant of the same produces a?
Keith_Richards [23]

Cross-pollination, or when pollen from one plant fertilizes another plant of the same produces outcrossing or outbreeding.

Explanation:

Cross pollination is the transfer of pollen from a plant's stamen to a different plant's stigma of the same species. They produces stronger plants. For example only pollen from a daisy can pollinate another daisy.

They have male and female reproductive units on separate plant. If they are on the same plant he pollen will not fertilize the female reproductive unit on the plant.

This process needs four steps pollination, germination, penetration of the ovule and fertilization. The Zygote divides to form an embryo after fertilization.
