The committee of public information was an agency of the federal government of the United States of America. This committee was created on April 13, in the year 1917. The main purpose of this committee was to elaborate the work of the propaganda like the one which has been shown in the image which was created by Josef Pierre Nuyttens made during the time of world war I.
This was all done so that the citizens of the United States could be convinced that the war was necessary and the citizens need to support for the war and the war efforts.
