In a word, it was devastating. conditions were dirty and wet, physical movement was restricted for long periods of time - especially agonizing since the threat of shelling was constant and little could be done to defend oneself in such an event. not to mention disease was rampant. the fighting had reached a character of attrition. with only small, infrequent, and often undone gains, it was difficult for soldiers to feel that they were accomplishing anything, and they lost faith

Explain why the constitution limits the power of the executive branch
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

The constitution limits the powers of the executive branch because the separation of powers divides the powers of the government into three separate branches and restrains any branch to have too much power. The executive branch can veto any law brought to it.

Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

Option a==> yellow-dog contracts.

Explanation:

In the United States of America, there was a period( 1920s and early 1930s) that in order to secure a job, the employees has to come into aggreement with the employers that they will never form or join any union relating to labour. This case was very rampant in the public sector of the economy in which people seeking for work has to give up their rights to protest for unjustice ( for example teachers during those times were not to join any labour union).

The reason behind yellow-dog contracts is to make sure that employers are able to stop workers from protesting.

Therefore, we can see from the Explanation above that Rosedale Shoe Factory was making use of yellow-dog contracts.
