Answer:

the starry night

Explanation:

Van Gogh was painting "Starry Night" in 1889 as he was in the Saint- Remy mental asylum. Shortly after his ear amputation, he began to depict the view from his window as he was recovering.

The contrasting contours and thick lines are characteristic of Van Gogh strong emotions.

During all his life , he was struggling to overcome a mental health condition, and the use of dark colours combined with bright tones in the "Starry Night", provide a sense of comfort and confidence to the viewer.

This art piece is one of this most widely known artworks, and it gives peace, and hope, for it represents the noble sky and the stars as elements of hope.

What is one one way that printing affected the making of art
Elis [28]
Before the 15th century when the printing press was invented, art and literature was only made available to rich individuals who could afford it. The reason the prices were so high is because artists would labor over their peices and it would take months to complete one work. However, with printing, artists were able to create one work and copy it with consistant results. This way they could mass produce one artwork and sell it cheaply, making it so that anyone could easily purchase art for their homes.

best of luck! :)
