Answer:

Explanation:

in Britain, where no revolt happened, that the most change occurred. In large part this change resulted from the societal transformation created by the Industrial Revolution. Even so, the July Revolution certainly spurred the political processThe British Reform Bill of 1832 was really a compromise, since the reformers did not get everything they wanted. However, the bill was very important in that it made way for future reforms. Especially since the manufacturing cities of the North finally had substantial representation, the balance of power in British politics changed. Wealthy businessmen became part of the political elite. Parties reorganized, and the Whigs, a few radical Tories, and the radical industrialists formed the Liberal Party, while most of the Tories formed the Conservative Party. Under this new political configuration, and with the certain progression of the industrial revolution, further reforms were destined to take place. Interestingly, one aristocratic tactic to maintain power involved allying with the workers to strike back at the wealthy liberal businessmen.

England in the 1830s was a country in thrall to industrialisation. But new machines gave rise to new political problems: a middle class with a growing political consciousness, the dangers of the unregulated, uninspected factory floor, and the drain of workers from the country to England's great industrial cities

One of the arguments for engaging in war is that it helps the economy. Why do you think this happens? Could the economy be stimu
vovangra [49]
During war time most male citizens are employed (If the waring country uses conscription) which lowers the national unemployment rate. Factories for non essential items will start to switch into making products for war use which makes businesses boom and grows the national economy. Also employment rates rise again due to the factory workforce hiring women and men who cant fight in war to work in the factories. War-bonds fund the government aswell, because citizens buy them in a way to "loan" their government to support the war effort which raises their military budget. The development of new technologies can also lead to economical prosperity.

A great example of this is the United States during the Great Depression when unemployment rates were at a all time high. Once Japan declared war on the United States, unemployment rates were back to normal due to conscription being implemented for male citizens. The females also worked in the factories creating munitions and arms for the war effort.

e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

Marat was a French journalist who suffered from a deteriorating skin disease that obliged him to spend most of his time inside a bathtub. However, this did not stop him from being one of the most respected voices among the radical groups of the revolution.

He made such claims because he was, along with Robespierre, the most noteworthy radical figure of the Revolution. Marat actively called for the murder of the King and the royal family, and the murder of all of the nobles and political prisoners who supported the king and the Ancient Regime.

In the end, he was successful because the royal family was beheaded, as well as many political prisoners. However, he was himself killed by a loyalist peasant, who stabbed him to death while he was on his bathtub.
