Answer:

E. y=6x+22

Step-by-step explanation:

Because it is parallel, it will have the same slope. You can eliminate A,B, and C. If you plug in (-3,4 into option D, it would not work. If you plug it in for option E, it would work.

y=6x+22

y=6(-3) +22

y=-18+22

y=4

Answer: y = 6x + 22

Step-by-step explanation:

Parallel lines have same slope. So, a line parallel to y = 6x − 1 is y = 6x + c.

Now to find c, put (-3,4) to this equation since the line passes through the point.

4 = 6 × -3 + c

4 = -18 + c

4 + 18 = c

c = 22

So, equation is y = 6x + 22

Which of the following sets show all the numbers from the set {3, 4, 5, 6} that are part of the solution to the equation 5x + 4
Vesna [10]

Replace x with the possible answers and solve to see which ones make the equation true:

5(3) = 15 + 4 = 19. 19 is < 29 so 3 works.

5(4) = 20 + 4 = 24. 24 is < 29, so 4 also works.

5(5) = 25 + 4 = 29. 29 is not less than 29 so doesn't work.

Only 3 and 4 will work.

The answer would be {3,4}

The easiest way to solve this is to divide the shape into 2 rectangles.

The first rectangle being the big one on the left with the 12 and 6
and the second one being the little one on the right, next to it with the 5

So 12 x 6 = 72 (dont pay attention to the 7, 5, or 10, because all we need is 1 length and 1 width)

And for the smaller one it is a little bit trickier.

So on the bottom we see that is says 10ft, but we cant use that because what we really need is the measurement between the 5 and 7 on the top of the little rectangle

At the top we see that it says 6ft

We can do 10-6 to find the missing measurement.

Because the length of the whole like is 10, and the length of one of the little lines is 6, so the length of 6 + some number =10

So 10-6 = 4

Which means the number we need is 4

So now we have 5 x 4 = 20

72 + 20 = 92

Answer: 92

I also attatched an image, I hope this helps! Ask me if you have any other questions about this problem!
