According to Malala, the Taliban violated the rights to education of women through violence to discourage girls and prevent the promotion of female schooling. A clear example of this is the same Malala, who suffered an attack (a bullet in the head) by this extremist group, making it a target to kill her. Malala says that girls were not allowed to wear colored clothes so as not to disturb to the talibans. The girls wore street clothes so as not to be identified as students and they even had to hide their books. The Taliban executed those who did not comply with their laws and imposed the closing of schools for girls.

oksano4ka [1.4K]

Answer:

The ethical problem of saving American lifes by destroying Japanese.

Explanation:

Historians agree that the main reason of the US to use atomic bombs was the desire to save as much American soldiers as possible. We shouldn´t forget that untll then the Japanese government and its army (not their civil population) showed an iron (samourai) will to fight till the very end.

After the bombing of Hiroshima there was no sign from the Japanese government to surrender. Therefore, the US decided to continue and bomb Nagasaki three days later.

As Eric Hobsbawm pointed out in The Age of Extremes, world war II was the first democratic war in the sence that civilians all over the world became victims on a large scale too.

Why did the u.s try to control its a affairs Puerto rico
Svetllana [295]

Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the United States. The US government started to control Puerto Rico in 1898, when the Spanish American Civil war gave the US its control. However, Puerto Ricans struggled to obtain more democratic rights during many years. The US controls the island, but it doesn't interfere with local government policies. American interests on Puerto Rico are based on political as well as economic reasons. The US makes use of Puerto Rico ports and roads. Besides, it also trades sugar and tabacco. Furthermore, US tries to keep Puerto Rico under its control in order to maintain its presence in the Caribbean as well as protecting the Panama Canal.
