A and B can be eliminated.<span> Buoyancy has to do with things floating on water and there's no heat involved with this experiment, so those two answers are wrong.

We're left with C and D. There is no surface tension involved, so the answer would be letter D - capillary action. Capillary action is what happens when water is forced up the walls of a vessel. Capillary action caused the celery to turn blue.

Answer: D

The law of_____
Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

The correct answer is - segregation.

Explanation:

The law of segregation states that out of two factors or alleles of a gene located in an organism, only one allele or factor is distributed to each sperm cell or egg cell (gamete) randomly, So, the segregation of the alleles are random and only one allele is distributed to each gamete according to this law.

The law of segregation helps in making a different combination of alleles in a particular species or population and leads to variation in genetics. It makes sure that traits distribute to each generation randomly.

Identify a control group for the analysis shown in Figure 3. Justify analyzing SIRT3 protein level in four different cancer cell
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Answer:

the control group is NS (normal stomach cells). the different cells can react different ways based on the specific cell because each cell in different people codes for different traits in each person therefore they are likely to react differently. the higher the SIRT3 expression the higher the cytoplasmic ATP levels. the difference is about 1 difference.

Compare and Contrasts Biotic Factors and Abiotic Factors. What are they?
baherus [9]
A biotic factor is a living thing that has an impact on another population of living things or on the environment. Abiotic factors do the same thing, but they are non-living. Together, biotic and abiotic factors make up an ecosystem. To survive, biotic factors need abiotic factors.
