Do you think labeling people had a positive or negative effect on society? 2 reasons

Answer:

labeling people by the color of their skin, by the way they dress, or anything has a negative effect on society and personally I don't think there would ever be a good reason to label someone. The first reason it is bad is because it can lead to serious issues. For example like the BLM movement. George Floyd got killed by a police officer just because he was black and this is an example of labeling. Had he been a white male, he wouldn't have died that day. This death along with many other deaths of black people has led to protests and some riots. Protesting is good only if its peaceful and for a good reason but labeling people has led to conflict between races. Another reason it's bad is because when you label someone your not thinking about their perspectives. So everybody who labels people continuously are just a bunch of close-minded people and an open-minded society is the best society.

In what ways were temples important to Egypt economy
abruzzese [7]
If the temple was a large one (as most in the "New Kingdom" were), the Pharoah in charge of said temple would have to employ many people to upkeep them. Not only that, but the larger temples also housed smaller buildings in its parameters. People were paid to run these temples, which also doubled as a sort of Commerce area. However, the temples focused more so on religion and beliefs.

Choose two amendments to the Constitution from the slideshow to research. Research the amendments to answer the following questi
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

The amendment are the 19th amendment and the 26th amendment.

The 19th amendment protects the rights of all women and citizens to vote no matter their race or sex. Their votes shall not be denied. While the 26th amendment protects the rights of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote.

Men that had power and that were rich were probably against it because they were not willing to share their power with women. They probably didn’t want women to have the same rights at them. The 26th amendment received overwhelming support in Congress and it took only four months for the states to ratify it.

The 19th Amendment was introduced to Congress in 1878. The 26th amendment was introduced on March 23, 1971.

The women rights movement led to the 19th amendment ratification. The slogan “old enough to fight, old enough to vote led to the 26th amendment.

The 19th amendment was ratified on August 18, 1920. While the 26th amendment was ratified on July 1st, 1971.

The women rights movement led to the 19th amendment ratification. The slogan “old enough to fight, old enough to vote led to the 26th amendment.
