Why do you think the delegates at Versailles refused to allow German delegation

History

When the treaty of Versailles was negotiated (without the Germans mind you) they didn’t refuse to allow German delegation. They didn’t invite the Germans because they were under the impression that the Germans had surrendered (instead of the cease war that meant neither side won.) Since Germany had “lost,” the loser had no say in the terms of the treaty and was forced to accept it.

The treaty of Versailles was one of the causes of World War II.

What was pope urban II's main reason for calling the first crusade?
Kobotan [32]
When Alexius I Komnenoi implored the pope (Urban II) for help, he meant it to reconquer the lost Byzantine lands (and therefore return in to their de facto ruler, a.k.a., the Byzantines). Urban however, decided to merely use that as a façade in order to then invade the Muslims, and retake the holy land.

He also saw the wanted to unite Christianity as a whole (All the sects at the time, Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Paulicianism, Iconoclasts, etc. into a single conglomerate, fighting a common enemy.)
