y=2/x² +3

let's find f and g y=f(g(x))=2/x² +3, y-3= 2/x² , so f^-1(y)= y-3= 2/x² = g(x) so g(x) =2/x² but y = 2/x² +3, so y= g(x)+3= f(g(x)), consequently, f(x) = x+3 finally f(x) = x+3, and g(x)=2/

An hour before show time, only 228 people are seated for a musical performance. according to ticket sales, 94% of the people
adelina 88 [10]

Answer:

  3800 tickets sold

Step-by-step explanation:

We know the number of people seated, and we know the percentage of total ticket sales that represents. So, we can find the total number of tickets sold.

  seated + not-arrived = total sold

  228 + 0.94 × total sold = total sold

  228 = 0.06 × total sold . . . . . . . . . . . . subtract 0.94 × total sold

  228/0.06 = total sold = 3800

There were 3800 tickets sold for the performance.
