Based on the quotation, which best describes the Soviet perspective on US foreign policy?
ale4655 [162]

The correct response is:

The Soviet Union does not trust US foreign policy.

Explanation:

This issue can be explained by the concept of defense dilemma.

Many nations in such a bipolar conflict as the one between US and USSR simply do not know if they should 'attack to defend' their territory or wait to see what the other party will do and remain to seem weak.

Thus, both try to one up each other just to secure their own turn against them.

This creates a sort of dilemma and not being sure about each other's motives in these nations.

Why was De-Stalinization started by Nikita Khrushchev in the Soviet Union?
velikii [3]

Answer:

Martin McCauley argues that Khrushchev's purpose was to "liberate Party officials from the fear of repression". Khrushchev argued that if the Party were to be an efficient mechanism, stripped from the brutal abuse of power by any individual, it could transform the Soviet Union as well as the entire world.

Please help me <br> How did the USA react to Soviet expansionism
sergeinik [125]

Answer:

By the Cold War.

Explanation:

After WWII, America and the Soviet Union knew they were BOTH international superpowers based on their success in defeating the Axis powers with nuclear weapons. Knowing this, the Soviets began expanding what I believe was south/east, and America felt threatened (somehow) to this process. So the non-violent "war" known as the Cold War (because the Soviet Union was cold and so is the USA) began.

I recommend the  channel "Oversimplified" for further explanation.

(Before you ask, I do not sponsor "Oversimplified" or any channel for that matter.)
