  • The most important struggle faced by Jackie Robinson was about racial abuse where people shouted racial insults.
  • The abuse was only verbal but physical abuse also where some people tried to hurt him also and he also received threats because of his race.
  • There were some teams who had signed petitions that they will not play with Jackie Robinson. Robinson had to control his temper even after listening to these abuses so that he could ignore people who thought that African american did not belong to this game of baseball.
