were able to regain sovereignty in their respective countries

William introduced those laws to control English. he gained a reputation of being a tyrant in England. Those laws were build to conquer and destroy nations. But it could of been a lot worse. William attempted to learn English to control them and there population.after the rebellion in north England Williams rule became more harsh.
