I could be wrong but it seems like the long poles would be fishing poles or lines and "reared from sea" makes me think of the fishing poles finally be used or getting a tug from a fish bite.

While reading a story, Adi comes across a sentence with an unknown word and makes a prediction about its meaning. How
galben [10]

Answer: I would use a dictionary, but that wasn’t a choice; She should reread the beginning and ending of the story to see if her prediction was correct.

Explanation: IF she reread only the sentence with the unknown word to see if her guess makes sense, she could still err, but reading before and after should give a better idea if it was correct.

Identified as the place to see, the grandeur of the Mayan Ruins did not disappoint me.
Irina-Kira [14]
The underlined verbal identified serves as A. adjective in the sentence above.
It modifies the subject the grandeur of the Mayan Ruins because it answers the question - What kind of Mayan Ruins? - (Those) identified as the place to see.
Hope this helps!

A. A trade Union is for a specific trades (like firefighters, police). Industrial general union is for companies that make things like vehicles. Both protect the employees.

B. A grievance procedure is when an employee is done wrong within the company. For example, in a factory they may go by senority (how long somebody works there). Suppose they forced a person to work that had more time in over somebody who has less time in. A grievance would be filed. A disciplinary procedure would include being late to work, crashing a forklift, etc.

C. If a grievance isn’t dealt with early, the company could loose money, employees, etc.
