In sweet pea, gene C is responsible for color production and gene P is responsible for the purple color pigment. Both of them ar

e located on two different loci on different chromosomes. The flowers will be purple only when the plant has the genotypes as C_P_. No color will be produced with genotypes: ccPP, ccPp, CCpp, CCPp. Thus, gene C controls the expression of gene P. What pattern of inheritance is exhibited here?

The answer is epistasis.Epistasis is the result of the interaction between two genes. It consists of the effect that one gene is dependent on the presence of the other genes. In this case, gene P is dependent on gene C.

Answer: 1.) You want to answer, possibly, your hypothesis.

2.) If you have a prompt and a claim, write your hypothesis down in this form: If ______________, then________________.

3.) Use the scientific process of performing an experiment, like observation, measurement, etc.

4.) LABEL all the sides of your (bar, line, etc) graph.

5.) Write a sentence using your graph in this form:

It (increased/decreased)_________ because _________.

This value is the (greatest/least) __________ because ___________.

6.) Explain why or why not the hypothesis supported your observations and measurements.

My hypothesis (did/didn't) support my experiment because ____________.

7.) In other words, how does your graph, observations, etc., go along with your hypothesis?

Hope this helps.

harina [27]

If hares moved faster and were thus harder for lynx to capture, the rate in the lotka-volterra predator-prey model that would change is the searching efficiency.

Lotka-volterra predator-prey model is a prey-predator model is a first order non linear differential equation that describes about the dynamics of two biological systems where the species interacting will consist of a prey and a predator.

The population of the prey and predator effects the population of each other in various ways. Like when the population of prey will increase it will cause increase in population of predator as well while the inverse is true in case of predator population increase.

When the hares will move faster, lynx searching efficiency will reduce due to difficulty in finding the prey.

Ten point to who answers this ?
expeople1 [14]
Active transport is a process requiring energy in which a substance crosses the cell membrane. In a resting neuron, there are positively charged sodium ions outside of the cell, and negatively charged potassium ions in the cell. When the neuron fires, depolarization occurs=> the positive ions are forced in and negative ions are forced out by means of active transport. When the neuron is done firing, the ions are forced back into their original position inside or outside of the cell by active transport.

Let me know if I need to clarify any of that.
